Objective:

To equip believers to be effective witnesses for Jesus Christ through Evangelism, Missions and Visitation Ministry. We will teach and train persons to evangelize through creatively working together to reach and witness to the lost. Church growth and expansion will occur.

Evangelism Ministry

MIT Ethel Carter, Leader
The goal of evangelism is to engage the membership in relational evangelism. The ministry is design to coordinate and conduct evangelistic ministry opportunities in and throughout the community which allows participation from the St. Paul members and ministries.

Rev, Castor leads us with training and equipping the membership for evangelism through “Reaching the World Institute” every 4th Sunday Morning @ 9:30am.

Pen Pal/CollegeMinistry:

To maintain connection with our students to their local church while attending College. We provide care packages, monthly CD’s of the spoken Word and letters of encouragement to all college students and those who are incarcerated.

Visitation Ministry:

The ministry provides a weekly worship service and bible study to those who are in nursing homes and incarcerated. The ministry serves as pastoral care to those who are in the hospital, nursing homes or sick and shut in at home.

What is TEFAP?
Government Commodities established in 1981 by Ronald Reagan to help alleviate a 300 million pound surplus of USDA commodities. Remember the “Government Cheese”? After the surplus was depleted, distribution continued under “The Emergency Food Assistance program

Where does the food come from?
The food is distributed by our local 2nd Harvest Food Bank of Jacksonville.

How long have St. Paul been a distributor?
St. Paul has been a distributor of TEFAP products for 6 years and currently serves the community.

When is the Food available for pick up?
The standard distribution day is the 1st Monday of the Month at 11:00 a.m, however food is always available as long as we have products on Hand, because it’s emergency food.

What are the qualifications for receiving Food?

  • Needs assistance with Food
  • Filling out paperwork
  • Signing in on Distribution day

What type of food is distributed?

Transportation Ministry

Provides quality transportation service to member/disciples for special events and worship services.

New Beginnings Ministry:

Provides people with solutions to life challenges, through practical principles and biblical application by Worshipping, Walking, Working, and Witnessing the 12 Steps with Jesus Christ. Meeting Time: Saturday 6:00-8:00pm
